It was built quickly to capitalize on the May 2025 trend across LinkedIn and socials where people shared AI‑generated figures after ChatGPT’s new image generation model. Users upload a selfie, select styles, and generate previews. The funnel is instrumented (PostHog) for rapid iteration. We experimented with pricing variants (no specific amounts) and focused on minimizing friction before users see value. The architecture stays lightweight but extensible for bundles, B2B workflows, and potential physical figurines.
Checkout conversion is volatile with small sample sizes; paid acquisition pushed CAC above revenue. Main levers: preview‑first flow, one‑screen checkout, and lower‑cost traffic via referrals/creators.
Prototype shipped with initial purchases and clear validation, including interest in physical figurines. Analytics surfaced actionable levers to stabilize the funnel and reduce CAC; next steps include expanding use‑cases (HR/team gifting, agency mini‑tool, B2B bundles) and exploring a physical product line.
