Overview
Wizrd.ai is a side-project prototype that turns a selfie into a stylized figurine using AI. It was built quickly to capitalize on the May 2025 trend across LinkedIn and socials where people shared AI-generated figures after ChatGPT's new image generation model. We kept the product simple yet powerful, with an MVP-first approach for future flexibility.
Users upload a selfie, select styles, and generate previews. The funnel is instrumented (PostHog) for rapid iteration. The architecture stays lightweight but extensible for bundles, B2B workflows, and potential physical figurines.
The challenge
Checkout conversion is volatile with small sample sizes; paid acquisition pushed CAC above revenue. Main levers: preview-first flow, one-screen checkout, and lower-cost traffic via referrals/creators.
