Cross-platform mobile app development for iOS and Android

Cross-platform mobile app development, for us, means one app for both platforms (Expo / React Native), or a PWA when the web is enough, and the app is yours from day one. We do not do native Swift or Kotlin, or games with heavy graphics. Clients stay with us 18+ months.

Do your people work mostly in the browser? See custom web application development.

What it looks like in practice

A company kept its accounting documents in boxes of paper. We built it a web app for admins and a mobile app for Android and iOS that scans documents and reads the text in them. Every document is available instantly, and two-factor authentication protects access.

What changes for you

iOS, Android and web from one codebase

One codebase means one set of fixes and one build instead of two. When the web is enough, we build a PWA: it installs from the browser and does not wait for store approval.

A first version in weeks

We start with the smallest thing you can put in users’ hands. On one project we had the first version in under 10 working days. At launch we stay with you for another 30 days.

An app in your name

The code, the data and the App Store and Google Play developer accounts are yours. Maintainable code, clear to any next engineer, so you can hire a team or raise money without us.

What people come to us with

A founder before the first version“I need to know when the MVP will be ready and what it will cost.”

How we solve it: Together we write a list: what ships first, when, and how you can check it.

Example: One project: the whole system live within a month.

A founder whose vendor is leaving“Our vendor is quitting and nobody else understands the code of our app.”

How we solve it: We take over the code, data and infrastructure, document them and keep building.

Example: You can leave us too: when you do, we fix the bugs from the last month.

How we work

The hard part is not the screens. It is sign-in, working without signal and syncing data, notifications, the camera and scanning, App Store and Google Play approval, and updates that do not break older versions on people’s phones.

We get back to you within two business days, and together we pick what to fix first.
Instead of a quote you get a list: what will be done and how you can check it.
The first version in weeks, not months.
Then small steps every week or two.

When we don't recommend it

  • You want a game or an app with heavy graphics (3D, demanding video). We do not build those; a native studio fits better.
  • The whole value of the app is hardware or AR: augmented reality, Bluetooth devices, sensors at the edge of what a phone can do. That calls for native Swift and Kotlin.
  • You only need your company presented on mobile. That is a website, and we do not build websites.
  • You have not tested the idea, not even in customer conversations. Start there, not with code.

What month one looks like

  • Week one: we decide whether a PWA is enough or the app needs to be in the stores, pick the main scenario and write down what will be done after month one. The guarantee is measured against that list.
  • Every week a test version right on the phone, on iOS and Android. You decide directly with Filip what gets added and what waits.
  • End of the month: the first version from the list in the hands of the first users, and developer accounts in the App Store and Google Play in your name if the app needs them. Store review takes its own time, so we plan for it from the start.
  • A fixed price fits a first version with a clear scope. The monthly subscription fits when you want to continue based on user feedback.

What it costs

Try the first month. If we miss what we wrote down, we refund 50 %. Monthly subscription from €3,980 excl. VAT, pause or cancel any time. Or a fixed price per project: tell us what you need and we send you a quote and a list of what we deliver. Code, data and infrastructure owned by the client from day one.

Month one starts with a written list: what we deliver and how you can check it. The 50 % money back is measured against it.

Only your own hosting and AI model usage. You pay them directly to the providers, not through us.

After launch you get 30 days of support. Then you pause the subscription. When something needs changing or adding, you resume it and we carry on. After you cancel, the software, data and infrastructure stay yours. When you leave, we fix the bugs from the last month.

PWA vs native app: which one does your business need?

A PWA is enough when the people using the app get it from a link you send. Go to the App Store and Google Play when new people should find you there or you need features the web lacks. Comparison, self-test and how to start.

Mobile app development cost: what drives the price

Mobile app development cost depends on the path (PWA, React Native with Expo, or native), the scope of the first version and operations after launch. With us from €3,980 a month, or a fixed price per project.

Frequently asked questions

15-minute meeting with Filip
PWA or React Native?
A PWA is a web app you install from the browser onto your phone’s home screen. It is enough when the app is mostly forms, overviews and data, and it does not need to be in a store. We pick React Native (Expo) when you need the App Store and Google Play, reliable notifications, the camera or working without signal. At the start we recommend one and tell you why.
How much does a mobile app cost?
From €3,980 a month excl. VAT, or a fixed price per project. Instead of a quote you get a list: what will be done and how you can check it. Developer account fees you pay directly to Apple and Google.
Will we get the app into the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. With React Native (Expo) we prepare the store builds and take them through review. The app is published under your developer account, so it belongs to you, not to us. Apple and Google decide on approval, so we plan for it in the list from the start. A PWA does not go to a store; it installs straight from the browser.
Do you build native apps in Swift or Kotlin?
No. We build one codebase for iOS and Android, which is enough for most business and customer apps. If the whole value of the app is graphics, a game or hardware, we recommend a native studio.
How long does mobile app development take?
We build the first version fast (on one project in under 10 working days). Most of the time goes into rolling it out in the company: people start using it, give feedback and we fine-tune it. For the stores we also plan time for review.

What should your users be able to do on their phone?

Tell us. We get back to you within two business days, and together we pick what to fix first.
