Overview

Kontentino is a global social media SaaS. From March 2019 to April 2026 we were part of their product team, from 2023 through Digitaliko. The software we worked on was used by 60,000+ people every day. It started with React development, then we owned the frontend, and from 2024 we shipped AI features.

What we did in an established team

• Technical decisions: architecture and mentoring.
• The product frontend: we led the frontend architecture and its modernization, automated reports and performance analytics.
• AI features: we built from scratch an AI assistant as an app inside ChatGPT, an AI hub and a service that gives brand insights and analyses content.
• No extra onboarding: we knew the system in depth, so we helped ship new features every month.

What the team built

The AI feature set includes AI Image Generation with style presets and Brand Hub text profiles. It adds smart planning inspirations and hashtag suggestions. The tools handle content in many languages. The team also shipped AI analytics and smart posting recommendations.

AI Image Generation

The image generation experience was redesigned. It lets teams create visuals by prompt while keeping brand consistency. Reference images steer composition. Style presets get on-brand results quickly. The integrated flow avoids tool-hopping.

The challenge

Content teams needed faster production without losing brand consistency. They needed data-driven recommendations without extra tools. The answer was AI tools that produce on-brand visuals inside the publishing flow.

What went wrong along the way

Getting AI to "good enough" requires deep domain expertise. Early versions needed more iteration. The lesson: focus on a few solid core features instead of shipping four complex tools at once.
